Within the church, we connect with other believers, practice love and encouragement with one another, and partner with each other and God to accomplish the mission given to us. We want to personally invite you to come and visit one of our Sunday School classes. Sunday School is a big part of our church. This is the place where you can connect with others while growing in your faith. We all need a "Group that we can do Life with." We have classes from Nursery to Senior Adults!Bible Studies
A believer grows by spending time in God's word. Worship services and Sunday school classes provide opportunities to understand and apply God's word. As you understand God's great love for you, you will be compelled to love others. It is by this love that others will know we belong to God.Serving the CHURCH and the COMMUNITY

Music Ministry
Our choir is a wonderful mix of voice styles, and we welcome anyone who has the desire to "make a joyful noise" to the Lord. We work on many different styles of music, including gospel, classical, contemporary and spiritual. We have a wonderful sense of our mission, to aid in the process of worship on Sunday morning, but also as a group care and pray for each other in times of need. We hope you will think about joining our choir..Choir Practice is on Wednesday evening at 7:45pm.
Vacation Bible School
Each year during Vacation Bible School we endeavor to share the Good News of Jesus with the children of our community in a fun, delicious, creative, and musical way! Every evening of VBS begins with an informal meal, after which children proceed to their age-appropriate classes for crafts, music, recreation, Bible stories, and lessons that help kids discover just how much God loves them. Vacation Bible School closes with a grand finale on Wednesday night when children showcase the songs and lessons they have learned.Our enthusiastic volunteers work hard to make VBS a memorable experience for children and their families. Plan on how you can help support our Vacation Bible School. They will talk about the experience and sing the songs they learned throughout the summer!
Our VBS is usually held during the end of June.
Operation Christmas Child
Since 1993, more than 135 million boys and girls in over 150 countries have experienced God's love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan's Purse works with local churches like us to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. Each year, Pleasant Grove collects packed shoeboxes in the sanctuary and delivers them to the nearest collection point.Also, a group from the Church goes each December to help at the processing center in Charlotte, NC. This is usually a 1 day trip sometimes 2 days.
BBQ Chicken Fundraiser / Outreach
Twice a year we have a great time of fellowship and outreach as the church comes together to support our BBQ Chicken Fundraiser. This is all day event . . . . ..Currently we have two events per year, Fall and Spring.
